Hey,
I am a terrible blogger, I just basically vanished without any word to you all, so sorry about that.
After completing the Tome Topple Readathon, I felt drained. I wasn’t in the mood to update the final week and then I just got lazy, I wasn’t feeling in the mood to do any reading because I was mostly really tired after coming home from work.

So I am going to give you the final update of the second week of the Tome Topple Readathon and what I plan to do for 2019.
I didn’t get any far into The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton and The Crow Girl by Erik Axl Sund, I got through a couple of chapters and I wasn’t feeling in the mood to read them and decided to DNF them. I couldn’t follow along with the story of The Luminaries, even with the audiobook I was confused. With The Crow Girl, I couldn’t…Nope don’t like it…not into it…just nope, the plot was something that just felt predictable, like I knew who the killer was, I didn’t need the extra 500 pages to figure it out. I did include the pages read from both of these books even though I decided not to finish them.
I did pick up another book which was Before the Devil Breaks You by Libba Bray. I needed a quick fix.

I mean, I needed a book to read that was just easy and this book was perfect. I have been a longtime Libba Bray Fan and I really liked the first two books in this series but honestly, this book was, meh. I feel that this book was building too much of the supposed “Baddie” and the mystery of how the teens received their powers, while I liked how the group joined together to unify their powers, I hope that Bray doesn’t drag the series too long because I would like the next book to come out and hope it would be the final.
I guess that is the catch-up from the Tome Topple Readathon, again sorry for not updating you.

Plans for 2019
I think the only plan of action for 2019, is to cut down my TBR. To try not to buy a lot of books and also not to spend all my money on other things (That’s more of a personal goal in general). I kind of have a plan to go to maybe travel for a bit, somewhere different, possibly on my own. But I do need money for that so hopefully, I don’t screw it up next year.
Another goal I would like to do is get back into writing. When I was in college, I got very into writing because I had to retake my GCSE English and in one of the topics was creative writing and through that, I got inspired to write a book or something of a book. I liked the first couple of chapters and scraped the rest because it was too cheesy. So I’ve had a story plot idea rummaging in my head for the last couple of years and I want it to get onto paper just to get rid of it.
I think another reading goal I would like to put on myself is to try and reread some books. Recently I saw Cat from the Little Book Owl do a video of rereading Nevernight and it was so enjoyable, I really want to revisit some old books and maybe do a sort of series on here. What do you think? I do need a cool title for it…hmmm…what will it be?… Return of the Book?… Dreams of Books and Monsters?… The Book of ReRead?… Or just something like Dreaming And ReReading. What do you think? I can’t decide.
I guess that is the plan for 2019, nothing much else to say.
Oh, there is one, Merry Christmas. I won’t be uploading anything else in the month of December, I think I am considering it as a break from blogging (even though I did that a lot this year, sorry).

Bye! xxx
