What are you currently reading?

I have picked up reading City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab. Last week I haven’t been feeling in the mood to pick up a physical book so I decided to pick up something that I got on my Kindle. I have heard many great things about this book and of course hearing the news that it will be a TV series or movie, either one, I am excited. So far, I am liking the concept and the story. And I have already know that I am going to love it because I love Victoria Schwab anyway.

What have you just finished recently?

So I finally finished Runemarks last weekend, it did take a while to read it but I did it. I have already written a book review on Monday if you are interested in reading. But I will keep it brief here.

This book follows Maddy, she is known in her village with a strange mark on her hand. She discovers about magic in a world where magic is no longer accepted. She befriends a traveller named One-Eye who tasks her to find The Whisperer and along the way she learns more about the past, herself and what to look forward to in the future.

This was a nice book to get back into, while it did take me a while to finish it, it felt more like reading the book as new because it had been so long since I read it. If you are ever interested in Norse Mythology themed books then you should definitely try this series.

What will you read next?

I haven’t decided what to pick up after I finish City of Ghosts. I don’t know if I am interested in anything at the moment. So I might just pick a book up randomly and let you know next week.
