I thought I would do a reading update this week. I will be honest I have added more hours at work and I have been feeling unmotivated to read or even update anything, really sorry about that. The only thing that I have been doing is watching Korean Dramas and planning for my holiday in October. But also I have always found myself reading a lot more in the middle of the year so I am not concerned with my reading challenge or anything.
It’s been a really long time since I have treated myself for a holiday and so this year I want to go to Spain. I have already booked my flights and I am soon going to book for an AirBnB place, just planning for it is exciting.
I recently finished reading A Murder is Announced by Agatha Christie, I have been slowly going through my small collection of Agatha Christie and at the moment I am not feeling in the mood to read any of her books, there is no issue with them, I think the reason why is because I have lost interest in them and that makes me feel a little disappointed in myself for having the books on my shelf for so long and not to pick up any of them since. I think I might let go of them, clear them from my Bullet Journal TBR and give more room for other books.
I have slowly been reading Mansfield Park by Jane Austen. I started the book at the same time as A Murder is Announced, yet I find myself not reaching for the book than I did for any of Austen’s other work. I am going to continue reading it by using Audible, I have found that I read more classics by listening to audiobooks, so maybe it would help me get through this book a lot quicker.
I do have some ideas to add more content onto this blog and I really enjoyed my list of favourite Korean Dramas. I am considering on doing Korean Drama reviews here, if you are a Kdrama fan or not I hope you don’t mind. I’ll only do Kdrama reviews as a whole review and not do them weekly, as it would be so time-consuming and I could just pick out scenes and episodes I liked the most.
I hope you will enjoy the rest of your week xx
