Tome Topple Readathon #12

Hey Everyone,

Tome Topple is back and I am ready to take part in it. I’ve missed the previous one in May, which I don’t understand how I missed it but I did. There are nine prompts this time and I think I could do at least half of them. Link to Sam’s announcement video here.

The Prompts are:

  • A tome that has been on your TBR the longest
  • A tome audiobook
  • The tome you’ve most recently acquired
  • A standalone tome
  • Read 1 tome
  • A tome written by a Black Author
  • Tome from a genre you don’t usually read
  • Tome on your TBR with the most pages
  • A tome you started during another round of Tome Topple

I have a rough idea as to what books I would like to read this time and it is definitely something new.

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand – this will be for a tome that has been on your tbr the longest and audiobook. The bonus is that the audiobook is narrated by the late Edward Herrman aka Richard Gilmore from Gilmore Girls. Also this book is referenced in Season 2 of GG.

The Rage of Dragons by Evan Winter – this will count for the book that you’ve recently purchased and a book written by a Black Author.

Random Sh*t Flying Through The Air by Jackson Ford – this will count to genre that I don’t usually read which is Sci-Fi and I have been dying to pick this up.

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy – this book will count for a book started from a previous round of Tome Topple. I am going to consider this book as a bonus book just incase I’ve finished the other three.

I might throw in Fullmetal Alchemist since it has been a while that I’ve picked up a manga.

It’s starts on the 8th to the 21st. I honestly feel like I go through one book a week, so hopefully I can go through my TBR. (even though it continues to grow every single month)

I hope you are all good and well, if you are participating what are you reading let me know.

Happy Reading xx
