End of the Year Book Tag

Hey Everyone,

So the approaching end of the year is soon coming and honestly this year has gone by quick, don’t you think. Although it has definitly been the worst year in Kpop with all the controversies that happened throughout most of this year with Burning Sun/Seungri shit, a sexual assult case involving a known actor, Sulli’s passing (Still sad over that one) and members leaving their kpop groups which if you count the ones that happened early in the year and recently, that is more than what happened in 2014.

Anyway I am going off topic, so I have enjoyed doing book tags this year I feel that I should do these more often as they are really good to use if you want to post something but you don’t know what.

1. Are there any books that you started this year you need to finish?

Honestly, no. I have started books and dnf’d them which I have to be honest that I am so grateful of because it lessens the massive pile of books that I have left over. What I have always wanted was to cut down my tbr and not spend my money on books but I bought books on Friday before I started work (Look it has been OVER A MONTH since I have purchased any books, so to celebrate I bought books).

2.Do you have an autumnal book to Transition to the end of the year?

It’s already Autumn, so I think for me if I were to pick a book that would fit in the Autumnal vibe it would definitly be Just Listen by Sarah Dessen, it starts off at the beginning of school. I have read that book soo many times so it would fit perfectly as a cozy book to read around the colourful autumn leaves.

3. Is there a new Release you’re still waiting for?

Not particularly, no. I don’t really look into upcoming releases.

4. What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

I would like to read another classic before the end of the year like Anna Karenina, read some more Manga like Fruits Basket vol 3 and Citadel by Kate Mosse because it is the last one in the trilogy and I have been putting it off fo so long.

5. Is there a book that you think could still shock you and become your favourite?

The Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, I am currently reading the book at the moment and I am loving it.

6. Have you already made reading plans for 2020?

Yes and No. I have an idea of what I would like to do but I haven’t set it in stone yet.

I hope you are having a lovely day, I am now going to finish The Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Happy Reading xx
